POLICIES & SAFETY

1) No jewelry allowed in class. This includes bracelets, necklaces, hoop and dangle earrings.

2) Gum, food, and drinks (other than water) are not allowed in the dance room. All water should be in a spill proof bottle.

3) Parents of students 5 & under must come to the door of the dance room to drop off and pick up their child. We will not release a 5 & under dancer without their parent present.

4) For the safety of our dancers and staff, dancers must be picked up promptly at the end of class. After three late pick-ups, a $1 per minute fee will be added to your account for each additional occurrence, beginning immediately at dismissal time.

5) Dancers are not allowed in the dance rooms without an instructor who is prepared to start class, unless the instructor has given prior permission for stretching/warming up.

6) Running is not allowed in the studio or waiting area or boutique.

7) Each parent is responsible for his or her own child at community events and competitions.

8) Dance shoes are only to be worn inside the dance rooms. Please be sure your dancer arrives and leaves in shoes other than their dance shoes. 

9) We do not allow parents in the studio during class due to it being a distraction to the students. Parents who would like to observe their dancer's class must do so from outside the observation windows.

10) Standout Dance Center does not supply medical insurance for its students or their families. Such coverage should be carried by the family's own insurance policy. If an injury occurs, parents/guardians should understand that your policy is your only source of reimbursement.
