This is the perfect introduction class for young dancers. We will focus on basic ballet and tap terminology and technique. (Class attire - Leotard, dance top, dance shorts, or tutu/skirt. Ballet & Jazz shoes are required. Tights are optional)
Students will learn different hip hop choreography and styles to age appropriate music. This is a very fun and upbeat class with constant movement. Hip Hop is separated by age and is a beginner friendly class! (Class attire - Dance wear or comfy clothes the dancer can move easily in and sneakers or tennis shoes. No outside shoes, please have a pair of sneakers or tennis shoes only worn in dance class. No jeans.)
Students will learn different hip hop & jazz choreography to age appropriate music. Dancers will also learn basic jazz technique. This is a very fun and upbeat class with constant movement. Beginner/Intermediate level ballet technique. Minimum of 2 years of previous ballet class training required. Dancers must be able to execute level 1 terminology (Demi Plié, Tendu, Dégagé, Rond De Jambe, Passe, Arabesque, Sautes, Chaînes, etc.) with correct technique. Dancers 8 & under can take Ballet 2 with approval.
Intermediate level ballet technique. Minimum of 3 years of previous ballet class training required. Dancers must be able to execute level 2 terminology (All level 1 terminology as well as Grande Plie, Battements, Balance, Pas De Chat, Grand Jete, Single Pirouette) with correct technique. Dancers 9 & under can take Ballet 3 with approval. (Class attire - Any color/print leotard, pink or nude tights, pink ballet shoes, hair pulled up and away from face)
Intermediate/Advanced Ballet Technique. Minimum of 3 years of previous Ballet class training required. Dancers must be able to properly execute Ballet 1-3 terminology.

Strength & Stretch is a great stand-alone class or an excellent add-on to Turns & Leaps 2A, 2B, 3, 4 & 5. This class is designed to improve overall strength and flexibility for dancers. Exercises directly apply to the strength, coordination, and control needed to successfully execute dance skills. Dancers will also learn correct biomechanics for strength training & stretching. (Class attire - Dance wear or athletic wear & bare feet)
Students will work on the fundamentals and technique of various skills and jazz technique. Turns and leaps classes are divided into levels based on experience/skill level. (Class attire - Dance wear and jazz shoes/half soles)
Intro level for dancers 5-8. Intro to Technique is for Ballet & Jazz technique.
Beginner Level for dancers 6-9. 1+ years of dance experience required. Level 1 will focus on the following skills: Pirouettes, Chaines, Chasses, Saut De Chats/Leaps, Stationary Leaps, Battements & Leg Extensions. Dancers will also learn proper stretching technique & basic strength exercises.
Beginner/Intermediate Level for dancers 6-9. 2+ years of dance training recommended. The following skills must be executed consistently with proper technique to enroll for level 2A: R& L Single/Double Pirouette, R & L Chaine Turns, R & L Saut De Chat/Leap, Stationary Leap, Leg Extension, Battements. It is recommended to take strength & stretch 1 right before turns & leaps 2A. If a dancer is not enrolled in a strength and stretch class scheduled directly before, they are expected to come to turns & leaps warm and stretched.

INTRO TO TECHNIQUE
Students will learn various choreography in the following dance styles: jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. Dancers will also work on progressions, and improv. This is a class for the dancer that wants to constantly learn new movements and choreography each week. This class will perform 1 recital dance.

Introduction to beginner Jazz & Lyrical improv, choreography, and progressions for ages 5-8. Previous experience required. Intro classes are more structured and challenging than combo classes, previous 5-7 Combo or equivalent recommended.
Beginner Jazz & Lyrical improv, choreography, and progressions for ages 6-9. Previous experience required. Intro to Jazz/Lyrical or Turns & Leaps experience recommended.
Beginner/Intermediate Jazz & Lyrical improv, choreography, and progressions for ages 6-8. 2+ years of dance experience required. Previous experience in Jazz/Lyrical 1 and Turns & Leaps recommended. Class will rotate between Jazz & Lyrical improv, choreography, and progressions.
