Standout Competition Teams
Becoming a member of the Standout Competition teams is a wonderful opportunity to bond with others & learn what it takes to work as a team, through accomplishments and frustrations that come along with competitive dance. Standout Competition dancers will need the support from their parents & the decision to join and participate should be fully discussed beforehand. Being a member of the Standout competition team will require occasional weekend rehearsals and more financial & time commitments than recreational dance.

We have 3 different competition teams at Standout.
​
Pre-Company consists of intermediate level dancers ages 4+ and is a great transition from recreational dance to company.
Company consists of elite level dancers ages 6+ and requires more commitment than our pre-company & hip hop Squad teams.
Hip hop Squad consists of intermediate/advanced level dancers ages 5+ who compete in Hip Hop. Dancers can do both pre-company or company & Hip Hop squad.
The Standout Dance Center staff and instructors will do whatever it takes to help make your dancers successful. We will give them the tools and technique, as well as push them past the limits they believe they have as a dancer. For the dancers, it may not always be easy, but it will definitely be worth it! They will gain confidence and skills as well as learn what it truly means to be dedicated, disciplined, and determined. We are built around the fundamentals of family here at Standout Dance Center. We love every student as if they were our very own.
Standout Company will focus on precision, technique, skills, and movement quality. The Standout Company dancers will be role models to so many others within the studio as well as out in the community, so we will teach the importance of trying your very hardest at all times, having a positive attitude, and being kind to everyone.

parent audition meeting for 2025-2026 will be:
March 30th @ 6:00pm
May 14th @ 7:00pm
Parents must attend 1 meeting for their dancer to be eligible to audition!
